When they let you activate your phone the service works as well as expected. But, they don't let you just simply move your SIM card to other devices (even if Verizon certified the device as compatible). If it isn't a Total Wireless phone they give you a hard time. And if you have an error with billing in any way, do not contact their customer service. They do not know how to resolve anything. Instead just file a complaint with the FCC so it is forwarded to their upper level team that can try to assist. Cannot receive any calls on OnePlus 13 with the Total Wireless service as it tries to answer the call as TTY. BUT, this only happens when iPhone users call this line. Other Android devices calling have no issue. OnePlus support says this is only happening with Verizon users, no one else (globally apparently). So for now cannot use the new device, even though it is certified by Verizon.

Love the process of total wireless. No bs. Everything was explained to me thoroughly before i made my purchase. This is my third month with their service and i have signal everywhere which i didnt have in the past with other carriers.

The actual service isn't bad since it is on the Verizon network, and the plan prices are good. However their customer service is absolutely terrible if you call or contact them about anything other than very simple things such as paying your bill. I have used the online chat customer service and regular phone customer service both. They literally have zero idea what they are doing it's like talking to an AI chat bot that was created in 1985. They have no problem solving skills at all. Now this wouldn't be quite as big of a problem normally with a lot of other cell companies, but the issue is Total Wireless doesn't really have any actual brick and mortar stores that you can walk into and talk to a rep face to face.

I've been with Total Wireless so long I don't know when I started. I was with Verizon and found this. I paid $150 for a phone and pay about $23 a month. The charge goes on my card automatically. Consumer Cellular talks about support. Must be crappy service as I've never had a problem. Great service and coverage. There are "no zones" but those are probably universal to all phones.

The virtual chat assistants (there were 2). The first one was very distracted and took 2 hours to communicate with me and didnt resolve my issue. THey were difficult to understand(used words not easily understood). I had to suggest what should be done to solve the issues at hand. The 2nd one was a little better understood but didnt take time to help either. I had to call in and talk to a manager. I was trying to resolve an issue for over 5 hours before it was finally fixed. THere was so much loud conversation going on in the background that it was difficult to hear the person on the phone helping me. Not professional at all. Not the way I want to spend my whole day. Very disappointed with Total wireless and their customer service... this isnt the first time I have had a bad experience with them unfortunately.
