I’m reading some of the reviews here and I feel bad for some of the struggles these folks have had. Honestly, it sounds like every complaint I’ve had about Xfinity written here. For me, Xfinity was a disaster, even upon their initial installation where the tech completely screwed everything up and I had to call to get an actual Xfinity person rather than a contractor to come back out and fix what was screwed up. Quantum Fiber, in contrast, was super awesome. I have previously had CenturyLink at my house, and I do have fiber optic, but I was out of town for a couple months and switched services because of the great deal Xfinity was offering at the time. I have never had issues with CenturyLink in the past dealing with their customer service, even when I canceled my account, and coming back to them was a breeze. Since everything was already hooked up, basically he just had to put in the new equipment. I had to login with my new Passwords and it was easy Peezy. Price for Life, so I don’t have to deal with the yearly game playing with rate changes. I’m speaking for Colorado Springs, Colorado only I think. But I recommend them here.

My friend got it installed because they are a big video game player and it works so well for him. His game used to crash all the time on his other WiFi and have the slowest load time. Now I don’t have to wait for him for so long to load into our games. 😂 I can’t wait until it’s in my area because I really like that it’s priced for life and has unlimited data. Xfinity is always messing with my bill and I go over my data usage all the time. He said he definitely recommends it for others who want fast internet.

Since I started service with Quantum Fiber being forced to switch from Century Link I have had continuous issues with the internet service. The latest issue was scheduled for service in the AM Friday from 8am to 1020 am. I was sent to confusing emails about an issue with mt appointment. I called Quantum Fiber only to be told they have an error and I should receive and email or text about another appointment within 24 hours. Very frustrating having to pay for a service you are not receiving. UPDATE: Technician arrived on time. Great service from technician. Customer service needs better training.

Three days without internet connection call customer service no answer waiting time 4 hours !!! Pathetic!!! The fiber line from the street to my home is not under ground I am sow angry with company!! People don’t fall into this trap

I have had Quantum Fiber for 2 years with no real issues. That all changed yesterday. After waiting on hold for 2.5 hours and not getting my issue resolved I was pretty upset. A tech call was at up for today. Turns out, this company is getting a bad rap for a situs out of their control. One of the companies that they get their equipment from (the pods) is randomly shutting off people's wifi, not giving Quantum the chance to change it the equipment before they do so. Because of this, they are overwhelmed with angry customers and long wait times. Now, so many are giving 1 start reviews without knowing the whole story. As a business owner, I feel for them. They came through for me. My tech was awesome and solved the problem. Yes, better communication would've helped the situation. They are doing the best they can with a crappy, unexpected situation.
