QBD Books – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Terrible customer service. I live in London and bought a book for my two sisters and mum on the 8th January as a gift. One of my sisters hasn’t received it, I’ve sent online enquiries and had no response. I’ve had to ask my sister in Australia to chase up her own gift and she can’t get any information. I spent close to $100 on this idea that was meant to be lovely and now it’s become a mess and I can’t get through to anyone!!

I would avoid purchasing from this company. They have poor communication - they provide ZERO updates when delays are going to happen. We purchased two books and over a month later, the order is still not processed. You send them emails and you may not hear from them for a while (over a week). When you call them, it says they're too busy and to leave a message or try again later - then nobody calls you back - and when you leave a message, THEN they finally reply to the email from two weeks ago, with no apology either - no joke... Avoid this company at all cost. If there was an option for zero star, I would have chosen so.

Encouraged to join VIP program and receive $25 voucher. No t’s and c’s except an inadequate summary explained by Kawana store rep. When I went to redeem them at Morayfield store I was told I could only use $10 at a time with a min of $50 purchase. I was informed the vouchers are 2 of $10 and 1 of$ 5 which can’t be used on-line and can only be used singly with a minimum purchase of $50 and $40 respectively. Therefore I have to buy $140 of books to use The whole $25. It’s not illegal, just unethical to hoodwink customers into a “club” that has hidden t’s and c’s. It left an impression of being conned. Better trained sales people and a rules leaflet should be offered. Ps I will not shop here in future.

(stockland shellharbour store) the employees are always kind and helpful. they usually have what i want in stock, but the one time they didn't they ordered it in for me (i got a % discount as well). my only negative would be that they're a little on the expensive side.
