Called on this date at 10:52PM as I put the alarm on for the night, but then opened the front door and the alarm went off. I came in and shut it off and called the SimplySafe number, as I called before,to notify that this was my error. The female that answered asked for my information, and stated she could not find anything on me. I asked if this was simplySafe and she told me they on longer monitered for SimplySafe. I called another number I had for simplySafe and was told the same thing.Needless to say we went to bed wondering where are monthly payment was going and why were we not notified of the phone number changes. The next day we called the number on our credit card listed for payment and sp0ke ,with someone who acknowledged our call the night before and his response was ,"she should not have said that" referring to her saying they don not moniter for SimplySafe anymore, and the numberI called was correct. Apparently this female was ending her shift at !!:00PM and did not want to get involved with the paper work, is my conculsion. Something should be done to prevent this from happening again.That night we simply did not feel safe.

Don't try to call them if there is an issue with the system. You will be on hold for at least 45 minutes to an hour while you can't set your alarm. No one answers the phone calls you make to them.

We have been a customer for >3 years. The system and monitoring was ($$$) cheaper than (A) - $125/mo vs $30/mo. It takes an active user to maintain the system w/ updates and device issues (not really an issue). Everything has gone/went as usual except for three issues. Here they are: 1) DO NOT place the main level smoke detector on or near your oven. We finally had to remove the SS device from our system after Fire Dept arrivals due to browning the marshmallows on the candied yams, broiling ANY food, convection roasting ANYTHING (fish, beef, chicken or pork), as well as the plethora of lawyer mailings and notices due to our fire destroyed home. (No flames EVER!) 2) When a battery fails on a device (or it loses communication), you must remove it from your system, remove/replace the battery and re-install/rename the device - 20+ devices and your are constantly doing this (batteries fail at different times and communication issues are happenstance). 3) Last but not least - after 3yrs the app was updated to 5.7.0. Suddenly we have no access to our system. Connection Error - 'because we use a VPN'. We now have to go upstairs and login via a desktop as our mobile devices no longer can connect to our system. It used to be handy to control our system via our mobiles. Now we cannot. So, in the middle of the night, we cannot access our system unless we go upstairs and login via a desktop. While on the road, out at dinner, shopping, etc. - no access. "No Connection - check your internet connection." We cannot access our notices, video, alarms, etc. Somewhat defeats the purpose of having a "Security System" when it is 'not secure" and you have no communication with your security system. No resolve from the developers so far. Actually looking to going back to A, never had these issues with them. When you cannot trust your security system or firm, you are NOT secure or safe.

We have had this system for about 2 years. The original owner of the business didn't know how to use the app or any features with it, so I started adding on to the system and actually interacting with it, but the camera won't work right and after days on with tech support, I still don't have any kind of resolution to the issue. The deadbolt key pad is now locking, then automatically unlocking after a min, and the "no hardware" instalation set is a joke at best, nothing actually stays stuck. I have sunk more than 500$ into the system and am truly disappointed in the quality and customer service.

System is unreliable and contacts are constantly disconnecting from the system. One of them fell off the window one day and triggered an alarm!!!!! The only way to restablish a disconnected camera is to be HOME so if you are on vacation or traveling, you will not be able to establish that reconnection until you return to the property in person. ALSO we own more than one home and YOU CANNOT ESTABLISH AN ACCOUNT FOR EACH ADDRESS WITHOUT USING SEPARATE EMAILS AND PHONE NUMBERS!!!!!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS TO SAY THE LEAST so if you do not have a BUNCH of emails and phone numbers, FORGET SIMPLI SAFE! ALSO their customer service is FRIGHTFUL!
