I've taken both Redcoach & Vonlane several times and - frankly - there's a good reason why Vonlane's Austin/Houston route costs THREE TIMES as much. Redcoach issues I've encountered: WIFI down - frequently Electrical outlets broken or just not there - frequently Bus delays of more than an hour Unannounced replacement with ABBA vans Moving the Austin location without notifying passengers (staff actually claimed the new address was on the ticket - it was not) Unhelpful customer disservice staff, and having to listen to a long-winded & completely pointless spiel before being connected to staff Sometimes the buses are so COLD that it's like sitting in a meat locker for 3 hours - but not always, so good luck dressing for the ride! To be fair, the drivers themselves are usually professional with a good attitude It's still cheaper to ride than drive, but when the primary goal is to have a LESS stressful trip, Redcoach's business model comes up short

Usually provides a good service, but when they mess up you can forget about any customer service help. No replies to email. Chat representatives don't come online, even though they "will be there shortly". I got sick of waiting after 20 mins.

Good idea......and fills a need for transportation....... but never seem to be on time coming south. As we speak, ( latest example) bus delayed by 1 hour SO FAR from Gainesville to FLL. Guess with a captive clientele there is no need to address recurring issues?!?! Hope daughters make it in time for their cruise tomorrow morning!

Cancellation policy is vague and deceptive. I canceled the return portion of my Austin/Dallas round trip as the bus was an hour late leaving Austin on the initial departure date. I got an email stating my voucher is good for 3 months. There is nowhere on their website that tells you that if you cancel the voucher has a short time limit on it. I have sent complaints to both the Texas DOT as well as the National Consumer Complaint Database. At this point I want my money back as this is shady and deceptive bait and switch practice.

I frequently travel between Richardson and Austin for work. While pickup locations are perfect for me, they lack to deliver as promised. I always purchased first class seat however a quite a few time bus was NOT equipped with first class seat. initially they would reimburse for an average of $15 however they stopped reimbursing for my last two trips. I need to receive service what I paid for. Most bus drivers are rude. Some drives don’t pitcluggage in compartment under the bus. Passenger had do them self. I received bad injury while placing the luggage. .
