RAC Tracking Order Status

The RAC offered all the services that I wanted including a replacement battery and car key, should I need them and they were £29.00 cheaper than the AA who did not offer the above extras. Joining the RAC was a very easy decision to make.

My very first breakdown , scary , miles from home . My experience was eased by the staff member at the call centre and the patrol mechanic who got me going again . I still had a niggly feeling that the problem would arise again on the way home , but nothing .. Many thanks .

My tyre split due to pot holes, the patrol man came and said he couldn't do anything apart from find me a mobile tyre fitter. I said my policy takes me home and then I can sort a tyre fitter the next day (as it was a bank holiday), he said we don't do recovery for damaged tyres. The mobile tyre fitters appeared to know him, so probably bung him a tip for referring them, but they were too expensive so I didn't go with them. In the end I had to get a friend to tow me home and get a mobile fitter the next day which was far cheaper. I was not happy with the result of what the patrol man could offer - nothing.

The young man from Ripon who helped us arrived very quickly, was friendly and confident and knew exactly what he was doing. He towed us to our local garage and was very clear and reassuring in his instructions. He then gave us a lift home. An excellent experience. Thank you!

i can’t recommend rac enough i’m forever great full for there services. we broke down on holiday they came straight out unfortunately the car could not be fixed but they went out there way to get us and the car home safely today thankyou so much
