Portland Leather Tracking Order Status

Unfortunately I fell for all the online hype surrounding this company. I placed and received my order. When I opened my box, it smelled so foul and chemical- like petroleum, I had to leave it outside. When I went to inquire about best ways to mitigate the smell on their Facebook page, Portland Insiders, my post was declined. Upon further investigation, its very clear that this company is intentionally going out of their way to shape an overly positive narrative about their brand by deleting negative reviews, and removing ANY trace of dialog that isn't resoundingly positive. These practices are clearly not ethical and potentially troubling from a FTC perspective. The quality of the bag is poor with the strap ill constructed and cut of the bag irregular. Not a brand I will purchase from again.

Not everything here is exactly as I think. What was in the picture did not meet me in reality, which is why I will not write 5. Everything else was normal.

I purchased 2 purses for a total of $143.33 which included shipping. Upon receiving items I was so disappointed the leather which was mediocre at best for both purses. I immediately requested a return for both items because they were not as pictured. Without delay the next day I went to UPS and returned the item’s which cost me additional funds to ship back to Portland leather I ended up receiving 119.88 upon the return. This cost me $22.45 just to see the items that I I didn’t like. I will never make a purchase from this establishment again. Such a ripoff. I’ll stick with American Leather going forward.
