Paxton & Whitfield Tracking Order Status

I ordered two bottles of port for a private dining event. I found out just after ordering that vintage port was required, but I had ordered non-vintage. I phoned and the lady I spoke to couldn’t have been more helpful. The order was immediately upgraded and an email confirming the change arrived very promptly. The corks in the port crumbled badly when I tried to remove them to decant, but using a funnel and fine muslin meant this wasn’t an issue. The port (vintage 2000) was delicious and extremely smooth. Would highly recommend!

We had a P&W hamper given to us for Christmas for the 3rd year, we love them. Roll on next Christmas

Don't order online from here. You'll pay £17 for 250g of posh cheese and they'll only send you 170g of it but still charge the whole £17. At least if you buy in person you pay for what you actually get. Paid over £70 for Christmas cheese plus an additional delivery fee so I could choose my day of delivery. It turned up 2 days late looking like it had been chucked about the sorting office. The cheese though was thankfully ok but I hope they change their courier, particularly given the other reviews. Having said that the staff in the office at the end of the phone are great. I just won't order from them again due to the delivery issues and inaccurate sizes.

Delicious cheese, delivered via a clever cool bag so it all arrives in perfect condition. Perfect as I no longer need to visit one of their shops. 'Waterloo' (brie style cheese) is a particular favourite!

Amazing cheesemonger! I've used Paxton & Whitfield to deliver cheese hampers at Christmas, and in lockdown I've ordered a few of their cheese boxes for home delivery. They are worth every penny! The cheeses are amazing, and they arrived in a chilled box within a specific delivery window (advised on the morning of the delivery date). Short of visiting the shop in St James's, this is as good as it gets!
