No scam. Nice app and OBDII

I purchased the Zus Smart Vehicle Health Monitor, only paid postage, perfect device. You can scan car and delete errors. You can also use app it without their devices. INVITE CODE: TPI7O1

I purchased the Zus Smart Vehicle…

I purchased the Zus Smart Vehicle Health Monitor through an add on FB, only paid postage which is fine, only had it a few days but so far had no problems, really good device, you can change the speed, temp etc... In the settings to suit your region, I changed mine to mph, C° etc.. as I'm in the UK, don't dismiss this just cus your bad at technology and think it's all wrong, try actually reading and knowing how to use it properly, it took a few attempts to sinc to my phone but now it is I love the device, I'll post another review in a month based on my experience to see how it goes as, like I said, iv only had a few days

Quality product, dubious marketing, no escape from data collection.

Their OBD monitor product offered for "FREE" has shady marketing, not being upfront: (1) QUALITY. The product itself works OK for me and the app has VERY GOOD quality. Battery monitor and driving efficiency analysis are welcomed parts of the experience. (2) MY DOUBTS ABOUT "FREE": They give you their product "ZUS® Smart Vehicle Health Monitor Mini (Gen 4)" for $0 instead of declared "standard price" $60. They present it as FREE and in the last step then show you that the postage is over $19 (over 16€) – in my case. Since standard OBD2 readers cost 12€ (consumer price, and manufacturer price can be 4-6€) and the postage at the same post carrier and route in my case is 4,50€ (consumer price, but companies get discounts!), I suspect that in that $19 "SHIPPING" you cover for them price of both the device and the postage. I do not like marketers who call "FREE" as "PAID" and "PAID" as "FREE". (3) THIS "FREE" DENIES YOU A REFUND. Shipping costs are not subject of a refund, right? Only the device, which costs $0. (4) MY FURTHER DOUBTS ABOUT "FREE": Referral program gives you $10 if you “Invite your friends to claim the FREE ZUS device by email, sharing your link or posting on social.” How they could encourage you to obtain $10 for each friend if they gave the device to your friends for "FREE"? (5) THEY HARVEST FROM YOU. Similarly to Facebook. Car VIN (optional) and model and year. All car errors and related behavior. All routes you make, even if you are not subscribed to mileage log. Mass-learning from all the data behind the scenes. OK, today's key trend. But even as a subscriber, you cannot opt-out from analysis and selling your data! (Even if anonymized, but still...) (6) A VISUAL GAP ALL THE TIME: On the 1st screen in-app dashboard, you either see 4 wheels (taking about 20% of the screen) with no data indication - a big reference to their another product monitoring the tires. That space could be used better if the pressure monitors are not connected. If you remove those wheels in settings, you land in subscription-only dashboard. To me, this looks like "subscribe to remove ads" experience. (7) NO GDPR FOR EUROPE: They are mainly focused to the U.S., compliant with GDPA and CCPA. Someone from Europe may be happy, someone not. Overall, a solid product which I would recommend but with big marketing concerns and impossibility to stop them from data-mining and selling what you collected for them. If you are fine, then OK. Otherwise, grab some OBD-II (ELM 327) device and Torque Pro or other similar app and you are at similar price without pricey subscriptions and giving all your data to someone else.
