I ordered a total of five items for around $700 with promo code. Two weeks later, nothing, no email- I check with the shipping update and all it says is "label created." I email customer service *twice* in the course of the following week- no one gets back to me. I try calling the customer service number on the website- and get a regular voicemail like one you would get in a house. I text with an online agent who says she doesn't know where the package is. I call the store in DC, and the woman tries to help me but is obviously not in charge of the website. FOUR WEEKS LATER I finally get through to a woman who refunds my purchase. I wanted to love this female-owned and run business, but for the price you are paying for the clothes, the customer service is frankly, unforgivable

The clothes are high quality but for this price point the customer service needs improvement. No pre-addressed return label. No easy way to navigate to return instructions (found it buried in the FAQs). Have to enter order details then pass a “Captcha” challenge to finally get to the necessary page. And then…my order comes up and I’m instructed that I must contact customer service directly to return my (return eligible) items. Bad enough that I’m not buying from them again.

I love M.M. LaFleur's clothing. It is well-made, stylish, and comfortable. Almost half of my work clothes are from MM LaFleur. Their customer service is excellent and their no pressure virtual stylist appointments are super helpful. In addition, the CEO's periodic email messages (not sales promos) shows the company values its customers. You will pay at bit more for their clothes than average, but to me it is worth it.
