Massage Envy Tracking Order Status

This is for massage envy in corona, California near Stater Bros. My boyfriend wanted to treat me for a massage on Valentine’s Day. Should have been relaxing. The thearapist was good, however, the NOISE of men working right outside the room with buckets, laughter and talking very loud, the girls laughing at the men…I mean OH MY LORD how that was annoying and I did never relax. Did not dare to interrupt the lady working on me, she was so concentrated. Will not come back!

I had a great experience a the park slope location. amanda was absolutely incredible! she listened to my concerns and gave me a therapeutic massage that truly helped my back and next pain. I feel so much better. thanks!! also, the staff was welcoming and the facility is pretty clean and relaxing. some minor logistical issues through: inconsistencies in appointment start times, some technical issues with the massage table. not a deal-breaker but can definitely be improved!

Jessica and Bella are very good receptionists at the front desk…soothing, reassuring, light voices…..help customer relax as they walk through the door….tranquility room prior to massage adds to the relaxation experience….Lazlo masseuse therapist was very good…..

Very good massages and very nice staff and environment. Of course not all masseuses are equal, as I prefer a firm massage and only some can make that happen, so I tend to book my favorites when I can.

My wife and I have been members of Massage Envy ("ME") since late 2009 - and we've kept the membership even as we moved to a different part of the state. Each ME location can be under different ownership - and the owner's attention (or lack thereof) can impact the quality of the front desk and service. We've seen our local ME (since 2016) go thru different ownership and growing pains - with changes in management, lack of communication, no customer service etc. It was very frustrating. But all that changed for the better in late 2021...when owners (or new owners) decided to get their act together. Our membership prices have increased since back in 2009 obviously, but we find them to be reasonable for the convenience and routine. My wife gets her massage once a week - and I get a massage every two weeks. All appointments are made online - and any changes/cancellations thru phone call. They are very prompt with automated text reminders and/or changes and cancellations. I went thru many of the negative reviews - and some of them are simply due to the customer's lack of understanding of what is offered....the 50 min massage (vs 1 hour)....and their requirement that the customer cancel more than 24 hours before the appointment. Beyond that - the experience is very local....bad front desk, bad massage experience, cancel hiccup...it's all specific to that location. I'd suggest to people - before signing up for any membership - is to go to that same location 4-5 times and also to cancel/change an appointment etc - to see how the service works. After that , if you're happy, then you can decide sign up for a yearly membership. Good luck and happy massages !
