Liberty Mutual Tracking Order Status

Prices are outrageous. I got car n home insurance at half the price L Mutual was charging. Shop around check Prices. I was with L Mutual for over 25 years

Have bundled car and home insurance with HomeProtector Plus added on. It costs $1.2k/year for the policy on my 1400sqft home. They increase insurance costs 30% over the past three years and I've never had a claim until now. Hot water leak ruined my pantry, kitchen, dining, entry and laundry room floors, walls and baseboards. Estimate for mitigation was $6k Liberty Mutual paid $1k. Estimate for repairs (no improvements) was $13k Liberty Mutual paid $4k ($3k after deductible). They claim over $5k of repair is "not covered" and they wouldn't agree repair should cost more than $9k. Ridiculous! I do not and will not ever recommend them. How am I supposed to afford this? Floors are now just bare concrete slab and Liberty Mutual doesnt care. Update: After receiving updated insurance estimate which incorrectly claimed that $5,000 of repair was "not covered" yet giving no details or itemization for that, and after spending hours and hours discussing with both the mitigation and the repair teams, they have finally decided to issue payment to cover majority of contractor's estimate. Doesnt change the fact that they could have been nice human beings from the start and covered what my insurance policy was for, at the get-go. I'll increase from 1 to 2 stars since they came through after over a month of hardship and, honestly, not being nice.

My car was totalled on Monday by an uninsured motorist and by Friday Liberty Mutual had paid off my loan and deposited the remainder in my checking account. I am very pleased with the service from Liberty Mutual Insurance.

I give Lino Liberty Mutual insurance a 5 star rating, because they really provide great service. Agent Josh was very professional and the owner Lino even called a month later to get to know his client. I've never experienced that kind of concern or care in an insurance company.
