What a lovely apartment, spotless, well presented with everything we need for our stay, close to town only 5 min walk, would definitely stay there again, thank you so much, hope to stay there again in the future 👍

We have just come back from our second visit to Silton Hall at Nether Silton . It is a beautiful property but the house is very big and takes some warming up . The heating keeps turning its self off so if you are not aware you just get it upto temp and then loose the heat . I had requested a heater for the upstairs top floor room as this is very cold but was told they couldn’t provide this and this problem had been resolved . On tidying up on Sunday morning we found a heater on the wardrobe which we could have used if we had known it was there . We had also asked if some logs could be left for the two open fires to make our stay more comfortable as the year before we had to go into Northallerton to purchase some logs as the front room especially was to cold to sit in without the fire. We were happy to pay for logs but was told this was not possible . Also asked if we could order some locally to be delivered and was happy to pay for these but again was told that this couldn’t be done . On Saturday afternoon whilst we were preparing our dinner there was a power cut to the area . We looked into this and the information said the power was likely to be on and off whilst 6pm . t the time it was approx 2.30pm . The house was already quite dark at this time . We searched for candles and torches but there was nothing in the house . The heating obviously had turned off and we lost internet connection . The house is in a little village with nothing around . We had 5 children in the party and was growing a little concerned . We managed to contact Host and Stay and they did respond quickly , we requested if some candles , torches ect and heaters could be send to the property as it was getting cold already and no logs for the fires . Host and stay said there was no one available to fetch these items and suggested we purchase from a shop . All adults had already had alcohol so no one able to drive plus it had been snowing heavily and the roads were not clear . After a conversation with the owners Host and Stay sent a message as unable to hear on phone due to signal . Apparently there was logs in one of the out houses . Some of our party had to go in search as there is a lot of out houses all locked but we was given a key code number Outside the property was very dark , there are no outside lights even with power which is poor for such a large property . We did find the logs that we were grateful for and lit the fires . The power was on and off for the next few hours but as said by 6 pm it did remain on . The pool area is an in doors but you have to venture outside the house and at night again no lighting . My husband tripped and cut all his leg , it was pitch black . On travelling to the property on Thursday afternoon the road was closed off due to road works . We had to find another route which was miles of country lanes and was a bit daunting at night time . We would have liked to have been advised of this before our stay so we could have been more prepared . All the bedding and towels are of good quality and the house is very clean in most cases . There was not a toilet role in each toilet which was a disappointment and also all toilet brushes were very dirty . In the kitchen is very spacious but not as many utensils as last year ie Tureens to make dishes for the oven . Sorry for the negatives but this all had a massive impact on our stay that we were so looking forward to . If these things were addressed it would be great and more enjoyable for all who stay there for future

Amazing venue ,lovely n clean and spacious bedrooms and lounge and kitchen area the pool was a bonus Decor was beautiful

I had a really nice stay! The space was perfect, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. It was exactly what we needed, and everything was clean and well-maintained. I would definitely book again in the future! My only suggestion would be to provide actual cutlery, as the plastic utensils weren't ideal. Otherwise, a great experience!
