HarperCollins Publishers Tracking Order Status

This company destroys literature with its progressive censorship. Disgusting and shameful.

This company is appalling. I ordered a small book for my son 10 days ago and have heard nothing and had no email information regarding postage. I messaged them to be told it's not in stock. Why has no one informed me! I have now been told to that a refund request has been processed, refund request??? I'm maybe more literal than a lot of people but surely if you have no stock a refund should be automatic. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. It is now re ordered via Amazon and I will await my refund in anticipation, as they appear to be intermittent depending on the customer service.

Don't buy their eBooks if you have a Kindle, Kobo or similar. You will not be able to download it and you will not be able to get a refund. These things aren't obvious, you'll need to read the disclaimers. You'll be stuck with their eBook reader and unable to do any kind of export.

My order never arrived and was unable to get a refund. I tried to get a hold of customer service but they were unhelpful. They blamed UPS and told me to contact them instead. UPS told me to contact Harper Collins, so it was a lot of back and forth. I ended paying for books I never received. It’s unfortunate Harper Collins is this way. I would prefer not to buy from Amazon and support publishing companies directly, but I think I’ll have to go back to buying books on Amazon.

Harper Collins are reputed as the Number One publishing company in the USA. Several years ago I had the privilege and pleasure of working for the Vice President of Advertising. One might say the dream job for those with a passion for publishing. Harper is very selective about whom they hire and with whom they do business. I learned a great deal about publishing while working there. Subsequently, I published my own cookbook and have been writing/publishing online ever since. When Harper Collins accepts and approves your manuscript, consider yourself on the Dean's List of Publications. Today, Harper Collins continues to stand strong and alone in the world of publishing. Psst! I actually started as a short-term temp and was assigned to Harper Collins Advertising for four weeks. After I completed my gig, I was on another assignment when I learned Harper's Vice President of Advertising wanted to offer me a permanent position. I was thrilled and blessed.
