Grizzly Tracking Order Status

I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because they finally fixed the problem they sent me after a year of arguing that their factory quality control took a day off. They refused to fix a broken piece of equipment they sent me for a year. If this is how it is I wont be purchasing anything with the name Grizzly ever again.

I have no IDEA what all these negative reviews are about some or most are just whiny people. I have had nothing but success with Grizzly Tool. Everything was delivered in a timely matter, I had questions promptly, courteously answered I bought a band saw 40th anniversary edition I noticed it was on sale for 1250.00 then after purchase they lowered the price again I inquired about it and they refunded me the difference. Even had a problem with the zero clearance nylon throat plate for my table saw...they refunded me.. I asked why I didn't get the 5 % off with the add that pops up they applied it. Great people. I spent in the lst month about 5k tablesaw and bandsaw and other misc stuff I would not go anywhere else!

OK so I am very annoyed at a situation that has developed over the past few weeks. In 2010. I purchased a ShopFox W1758 lathe and have been using it every week for the past 12+years without issue. On the 4th Nov this year I received a recall notice from Amazon regarding this lathe stating there was an issue with the cutting tools. It turned out that the faults are in fact with the faceplate and tool rest and not the cutting tools which ShopFox did not supply (still it's good to know there is an issue). Anyway to cut a very long story short I was asked to immediately stop using the lathe and contact Grizzly Industries to request replacement parts, which I did and was informed that I had to wait until mid March 2024 (estimated) to receive the new parts, in the mean time do not use the lathe.Thats 4 1/2 month before the lathe can be used and thats only an estimated delivery time, we all know how things can be delayed especially when they come from overseas companies in China. If I used this just for a hobby lathe I guess it would be no issue but I'm in the middle of a huge Bugatti Throne Chair like project and it now looks like I have to purchase another lathe to safely complete them in a timely manner. Grizzly are selling similar lathes on their website that use identical faceplates and similar adjustable tool rests that would fit this lathe but no, they will only supply replacements by making existing customers wait months! Update Sept22nd 2024 After posting details of this fiasco with TPs website and the Better Business website along with more than 100+ review websites Grizzly Industrial seem to have gotten the message and supplied a replacement within 10 days. But it shouldn't have necessitated this sort of action?

I would like to take a moment to tell you about grizzly....I have bought a few tools from grizzly and I have nothing to say but great among their customer service...any issues I have had they took care care of the problems I am retired and live on a fixed income..so in today's world it's so very nice to see a company with integrity to their customers....I will buy more products from grizzly

After 4 months using the G0413 jointer it seems superb. However replacing a cutter head has been a horrible experience. They do not include all you need it even boldface the parts you will end up needing and are very highly recommended to purchase as your replace it. Their instruction manual does not even apply to my machine! Lastly I think they cherry pick and inflate their website reviews. I have reviewed on their site and it never shows up and their product review never drops.
