Gotogate WW Tracking Order Status

Got good price compared with other flights booking site

Bestilte flybilletter tur-retur Oslo- Mexico med mellomlanding i Amsterdam. Til tross for at det sto annonsert med gratis setevalg, fikk jeg ikke gjennomført bestillingen før jeg hadde valgt og betalt (!) for seter hjem på siste etappe (!) hjem fra Amsterdam. Dette setevalget, som vi overhodet ikke hadde behov for, kostet oss over 800 kroner ekstra. Det var ikke mulig å velge tilfeldig tildelt sete for da fikk jeg ikke reservert. Til tross for at det sto at setevalg var inkludert, var det heller ikke mulig å velge sete på vei til eller fra Mexico City.

I booked a flight through gotogate at a cheap price (recommended by kayak.com). Everything seemed ok, got the reservation number and email confirmation from gotogate. but after a couple of hours gotogate emailed me again and said it hadnt gone through. They recommended to book directly with the airline - West jet- and said I would get a refund. I decided to book through booking.com instead as they gave me a better discount. To be fair, gotogate emailed me quickly and processed refund within 48 hours. I think there was an IT problem with that flight because I kept checking with West jet to see if my new booking with booking.com had gone through. After 24 hours i called booking.com who said it hadnt gone through but sorted it straight away. Lesson: don't be sure the ticket purchase has gone through until you can login to the airline's website with the reservation code and check the booking is there.
