I'vehad several dell products over the years and was more than happy to purchase a new Inspiron 153000 two years ago. Had a problem under guarantee which was fixed immediately but my recent experience leaves me with no confidence that I will be looked after in the future. April 18/23 I called Dell re purchasing an extended warranty. Should have been simple, me wanting to give them money for a service. Don't you believe it. Despite being told that an operative would contact me within 48 hours I waited three weeks for Yana to email me and even then she simply made contact but offered no help. I did eventually get a quote after a couple more telephone calls but each time there was a long wait and Yana clearly either doesn't understand English or doesn't read emails as she never actually replied to my questions or requests. Two weeks ago I tried to purchase the warranty using the link I was sent but lost the order partway through paying by paypal. I called Dell for help and was told to contact my bank to see if the order had gone through.Needless to say it hadn't so I emailed Yana yet again and asked her for help to complete the order. I'm still waiting so I have decided not to bother. If I can't rely on them to take my money for an extended warranty I have no hopes that I will actually receive any help. That's mer finsihed with them I'm afraid unless someone actually reads this and responds but I'm not holding my breath. PLF.

I have had a good experience with Dell, firstly good value for money on an all-in-one PC especially if you look for a discount, I also purchased a support contract and Dell were ready to help with an issue I had of Windows black screening. They sent an engineer out several time out to replace the motherboard/ screen. Unfortunately, the issue was within the Windows o/s not the hardware and I sorted it out myself by rolling back video drives and using AVG Tune Up.

Before I purchased the item was estimated for delivery next day. The moment i placed the order the date immediately changed to 3 days after the order was placed. I checked the item as if i was buying again with my postcode and it came up with next day delivery again. Got an email stating item has been shipped but was unable to track it so contacted customer service only to be told it was still in production and that the email STATING my item had been shipped was an estimate which was ridiculous. Now the shipping date has been delayed yet again. What was supposed to be delivered next day will now be delivered HOPEFULLY a week later. Never getting anything from them again.

This afternoon I fell down a flight of stairs projecting my Dell latitude 5420 at least 8 feet into the air it flew and came to a crash in the wooden floor ....I love this laptop employer has offered upgrades having none if it .....in trepidation I retrieved it and opened it to find it purring as ever love this machine and Dell cheers

I purchased some accessories from Dell. The delivery agent DHL damaged the items throwing them over a 7ft garden fence as no one was home due to the parcel coming at a different date to what we were told. However Dell customer services were outstanding in rectifying the problem quickly. Well done Dell.
