Trivago Canada – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Great prices, easy booking, good customer service. What else can you ask for?

My friend and I reserved a hotel in Venice,Italy ,for two nights, through Trivago. After reservation process done ,we found out , the hotel was not the same as what we had seen and checked in the website. Trivago referred us to the other link that gave us the hotel with the same name but completely different one. So we had to cancel the hotel but hotel has charged us for 180 Euro as a cancellation fee. The hotel we were going to book was 4star hotel,and the one that we were referred to ,by this website and booked ,had the same name but was a guest house (that could be booked for less than $50/night (based on guest reviews I found in trip adviser later!)) not 4star hotel ! That was not what we supposed to book! It was like buying some product and receiving something else! We trusted the websites but the information and pictures they provided was different and we have been charged for that!

Horrible experience using this website and traveling company. The experience was awful and lost me money as a result not what I expected in using it as wanted to save money. I suggest using websites directly like [external reference] versus using this very sneaky middle man as it was a horrible experience. So one more time so my post is not deleted unnecessarily like all these others, it was my EXPERIENCE that was horrible. Pass this on please so others don't have this experience!
