I really thought i could use this site for long time investment. Two years ago i invested $40,000 and left it there. fast forward to this year i decide to check and all i saw there was $40 lol. sent messages to CS to know what happened but didn't get any positive response. even the $40 couldn't be withdrawn. Rose Lane GP have successfully tracked them down for me and we have taken them to the authorities and working on how they will pay me back

HAHA what a joke! I deposited $160 in 2021 and invested it, just for fun to see if it would grow. 2025 and I come back, to see what happened to it. Everything was gone! I thought, wow, what happened? Virtually all the shares I had bought disappeared, as if they were sold off. I never authorized any sales, I hadn't even touched my account in 4 years. I looked through my account history, and every month for the past however long, there's been an, "Inactive account," fee of $3.99 every month, which drained my entire account over time, as it sold off parts of shares for the fee. In order to avoid it, you have to login once a month. It completely shocked and appalled me. I thought the whole point of investing was being able to leave your money in the stock market and watch it grow long term? What's the point if the broker steals your money over time? It's criminal, they have no right to steal our hard earned money like this. I come from the working class, and it's clear they don't have us in mind. If you're reading this, I urge you to take your money somewhere else, somewhere that is more honest and supportive of the everyday person. Don't support this predatory company, the last thing we need is more corporations leeching off our backs.

Public will easily and gladly take your money. BUT just wait until you try to withdraw your funds!!

Great service with fast response. I had an issue with a bank transfer and they took care of the problem for me quickly. Great service. I've tried other fractional stock apps and sites and this is the best I've used.

You know how they say that if it's too good to be true, it usually is? Well, that's the case with Public.com. If given the chance again, I would avoid this company completely and just stick with trusty Vanguard. John Bogle isn't a legend for nothing. The long and short of it is that I tried their Plans. These are a set of picked stocks depending on your risk tolerance (Robo-advisor light) - sound like a great idea, right? WRONG. Not when there's no flexibility and you can only invest per day, week or month with one fixed amount that you opened with. But they don't explain that till after you sign up and execute the transaction. They also charge a fee to use this "plan"...and they auto-check a box called "Fair & Equitable trading" - where you pay them an extra $2.00 for keeping trades "fair and equitable"?? Excuse me?? It's supposed to be fair and equitable by default...and I don't need to give Public money (especially as they auto-check it to trick people) - this is a very dark user pattern. I had to cancel the plan and transfer out the stocks to Vanguard, where they charged a $75 fee (which they are refusing to refund!!!) even though they messed that up and didn't transfer the whole amount to Vanguard and I had to email them more than 5 times to make sure it got done - otherwise they would have just kept my money. I've been trying to resolve this with them for 2 months now. Not only that, they have terrible customer service which doesn't take days, but WEEKS to respond to your urgent query regarding your portfolio, money, etc. Save your money and time, take it from me and AVOID!
