Olive – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Just this past week I decided to insure my 17 Mercedes GLE. I purchased the $76 a month plan a week goes by had to call them twice to ask for my policy package only to find out that they insured my other car which is a GLA250 which I don’t need insurance for that car & they wanted to charge $290 for that car. I canceled the policy which is only a week old . And they did refund my money. Such a waste of time don’t get sucked into bait & switch.

Purchased a warranty about 6 months prior. Maybe I should have ran away from first experience. I selected a mid-level warranty on their website, but when I completed the sale, the website reverted to a prior-reviewed plan. Thankfully, I had screen-printed each choice and transaction. But getting the high-dollar plan cancelled and refunded, was a huge ordeal. I think the only reason after several attempts they did, was I purchased the original mid-level policy. When I went to cancel last month, they pulled another delay by not returning my calls - then emails, by going beyond my next payment draft. They did agree to cancel the policy, and refund the payment but then decided to NOT refund the payment. I had proofs, but they tried to wiggle out. I filed an issue with my CC company, and magically they called to say they would now refund. Seemed like a trustworthy and different car warranty company. Now, seems in my opinion they are just as bad as others and have misleading and possibly dishonest practices. Sad!
