Gobble – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

the product is wonderful!! Love the choices. Only down side is my vegetables keep arriving with freezer? burns. I think they are not being insulated enough from the ice bags.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Gobble. They should be proud of the freshness of the food being sent. And also the presentation of each meal.

The dishes from Gobble are generally more flavorful and better than any of the other services I've used, such as Blue Apron, Hello Fresh, Every Plate and Home Chef. Instead of raw garlic, they usually include garlic confit, which enhances the flavor delightfully. They are more expensive, but I think the quality and type of ingredients generally reflects that. The lack of one star is because their marketing is a gimmick. These meals rarely, if ever, take only 15 minutes to prepare and sometimes there aren't any ingredients that were prepped, so you still have to do all of the same chopping and mixing as other kits, but occasionally you'll get one that has several ingredients prepped. On average, meals take 25 minutes with a range of 20-30. But they keep advertising 15 minute meals with all the prep work done by their sous chefs and I just find that deceptive. The reply about they generally take 15 minutes and the time varies depending on your equipment is poppycock. 15 minutes sounds a lot better, that's the only reason they advertise 15. Unless you start the clock after you've finished your mise en place and you ignore things like resting meat after cooking, these do not take 15 minutes. 15 minutes is the stretch lie that gets people in the door hoping that the quality and service will keep them. There aren't other meal kits out there that produce as good of meals in less time - cooking takes a certain amount of time if you want it to be good. It's not that I don't recommend Gobble - I just can't stand the marketing, which was clearly present in their reply as well.
