GenMobile – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I brought my own phone and got a sim card only. It has worked perfectly since I got it a month ago. AND, Gen Mobile was the only company that had a sim card compatable with my phone. All others could do just phone, or just internet or nothing. My sim does both phone and internet. So many bad reviews here. Not sure why. Maybe if people got decent phones their sim card would work.

Gen Mobile is okay. It took more than 2 weeks to resolve an issue. In the beginning, everything was great. However, when I expressed concern over not being able to use my phone (and after plans had been paid), did GenMobile customer service become non-responsive and I kept getting bounced around from rep to rep. Several times a "supervisor" was supposed to reach out to me, but never did. And the last representative I talked to, argued with me about my details! If you are looking for a cheap plan, then GenMobile is your provider. If you are looking for great customer service that promptly addresses very important issues (such as unable to send/receive calls for a few weeks), then godspeed.
