Burgess Seed & Plant Co. – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I ordered seeds (only) the beginning of February. It is now the second week of April where most of the seeds are too late for me to plant at this point. Every time I check my order status, the ship date is moved out another week or more. The chat buddy option for contact is nothing more than a loop. Good luck there. I should have known better as they are affiliated with Gurney where I have not had great satisfaction with them as well. Last time I order from Burgess, assuming I ever get this order!

My experience with this company was absolutely horrendous. I ordered a couple of plants from them in March and parts of my order have yet to even be delivered as of June 11th. They use FedEx to deliver, which is probably not helping them as one of my packages is easily a week late compared to the original delivery date so I can expect dead plants to be arriving on my doorstep this weekend, probably. I reached out to customer service via email May 8th and wasn't emailed back until May 18th with an email stating a case confirmation and that a customer care agent would get to my inquiry shortly. No one called or emailed. I called their customer service line a few weeks ago to ask about my order. The rep assured me that she would put a rush on my order but that did not occur. I called customer service again to cancel the remainder if the order as it would be far too late in the season to plant without heat stress on these plants and the rep then told me she would cancel but that also didn't happen as I received a shipping number from FedEx. The reps don't listen and they don't care. They can't assure their customers a decent product nor can they deliver at reasonable pace. They may promise cheaper prices and good products but they don't deliver. Avoid this company and FedEx if at all possible.
