GetUpside Tracking Order Status

First of all you find a gas station that uses Upside. Most of the time the price is higher then the stations that don't use Upside. Generally whatever the Upside discount, the station would be that much higher. Say the station a few blocks away is $3.25 and the Upside station is $3.40 with a 20 cent discount. Then of course you have to use a credit or debit card and all gas stations charge a extra 10 cents per gallon. So it would seem if you usually pay with cash, then the Upside app is costing you money. How can they say if a station is offering a 1 cent discount and your charged 10 cents for using a card. 2nd went to use the app at a local restaurant and they offered a 6% discount. Upon cashing out a sign at the register said a 6% fee would be added to all debit and credit card purchases. No money made here? True you get money back, but your really not saving anything because your paying more at the Upside stations, and 10 cents goes off the top when you pay with your card. Want to save money, pay with cash.

I started using this app to get money for the gas purchase. It started out great. I was keeping my receipts and uploading them on the app. Then not just two week ago, the gas pumps that I have been using on a regular bases are gone. Not just lost or just don't register but GONE. I even type in the place where I pumped gas and it will not come up at all. I use Sam's Club and United Grocery Express pumps and they are no longer on the getupside gas pump menu. I guess if you are an avid user at a certain pump then they make it go away.

I live in a rural area. I am fortunate to have a get upside station near me. The app has saved me precious dollars. Easy to use app. I got my cash out fast. My only wish....they would add my bank to the list.

Price Deception Although I still may save 10 to 26 cent per gallon, the price that is listed per gallon on the app is always lower than the actual price at the pump. So I may pass several gas stations burning gas to get to where the gas is said to be cheaper and it’s not. I have used this app for almost 3 years and this deception is brand new. Also, getting the refunds are slower than they used to be.

For the most part the app is okay but If you get to a gas station that requires you to upload a receipt Either run like hell to another gas station or Make sure you save that receipt until you get the credit you deserve because I've had to contact them twice now to get The credit because everything seemed to go okay when I uploaded the receipt but they never got it And they don't tell you they never got it they just Never give you the credit you deserve
